“I don’t want to go out! I’m pretty good here! Don’t force me please!!!”
Peter looked at Francis with pleading eyes. Francis sighed and came closer to him.
“I don’t want to force you to do anything! I just want you to take a deep breath outside. You’ve been in this room for a week now; you must forget about that asshole and move on!”
Peter’s eyes watered, and his breath became erratic. He knew Francis was right; he couldn’t spend any more time in that room. But Philip had hurt him so bad… He squared his shoulders and said in a strong voice:
“Ok, you’re right. Let’s go outside and try to forget about him. Where do you want to go?”
Francis smiled and thought that maybe…maybe Peter will finally see him as a man and not only as a friend…. A man can always hope, right?
